PERMANENT MAKEUP
LIPS

We will lift and curl your natural lashes and add length and volume for 6-8 weeks.

I always wanted to enlarge my lips, but I didn’t want to do injections. I was lucky enough to visit a salon in Madeira, where I was recommended permanent lip makeup. It’s not lip augmentation, of course, but I now have a beautiful natural shape and natural color. Next year I’m looking forward to meeting Anastasiia for lips permanent makeup.

It was absolutely wonderful. I felt like I was even sleeping. My pale lips now have a very feminine shape and a beautiful natural color. I don’t even have to put lipstick on them every day.

I was never happy with the shape of my lips and didn’t know how to fix it. Then one day, a friend suggested I see Anastasia. I was blown away by the results—it was exactly what I had dreamed of. My lips look amazing now! Huge thanks to you, Anastasia, for your incredible work.

What is Lip Blush Permanent Makeup?

Lip Blushing Cosmetic Tattooing is the most modern form of permanent makeup, an advanced professional art that helps to beautify your lips by adding color, shape, and defined contour. This technique is gentle, using special digital apparatus with high-grade micropigmentation pigments to literally shade just the superficial skin layers. When healing has finished, you will wake up with tinted, full, natural-looking (or dramatic if it’s your preference) lips every day that will not smeared or washed off during swimming, exercise, or even showering.

This technique is ideal for people who have lost lip color or contour due to aging, scarring, or medical conditions, as well as for those who have allergies to makeup products.

If you think about how to get bigger lips naturally without makeup permanently or address slight asymmetry, Lip Blushing is your perfect choice. We listen to your desire for shapes and colors and work together to achieve exceptional results. Whether you prefer a natural look that no one will notice or a more dramatic effect, it’s entirely possible.

Permanent Lip Color Techniques

There are various techniques in permanent lip makeup designed to meet the needs and desires of different clients. Modern methods allow for results that range from subtle, natural enhancements to bold, lipstick-like finishes. Unlike traditional tattooing, today’s techniques focus on achieving a softer, more natural appearance, regardless of the style chosen.

Lip Blush

Lip blush is the most natural technique in permanent makeup. It gently enhances the lips with soft pigment, creating a tint-like effect that looks fresh and subtle after healing. This method is perfect for clients who want a “just-bitten” look, with a slight touch of color that brightens the face without looking artificial. One of the most popular results of lip blush is the “kissed lips” effect, which exudes freshness and a romantic look.

Candy Lips

Candy lips permanent makeup is a slightly more intense technique that provides more defined pigment coverage. While still maintaining a natural look, this method mimics the finish of lightly applied lipstick or lip pencil. It often uses colors like soft caramel, floral pinks, or candy-inspired hues similar to popular shades from brands like NARS, Mac. Clients love this method for its balance between vibrant color and a polished, sophisticated result.

Lip Liner or Contour Technique

The lip liner permanent makeup focuses on creating a defined border around the lips, resembling the use of a lip pencil. This method emphasizes the shape of the lips without shading the entire area. While it was once popular, many modern studios, including ours, prefer not to use this approach. We believe it looks less natural compared to more contemporary techniques, and most artists now favor full-shading methods to ensure a seamless, polished finish.

Lipstick Effect

The permanent lipstick makeup technique creates the illusion of full lipstick with a rich, even color coverage. It is perfect for clients who enjoy wearing fearless and vivid lips with no necessity to wear makeup daily. It is beautiful and neat, appealing to anyone desiring a permanent solution for a dramatic look.

Lip Neutralization

Lip neutralization is an advanced technique specifically designed for people with dark or unevenly pigmented lips. The very technique will lighten and balance the natural lip hue and make them softer and more consistent. Clients for this technique mostly include people with higher melanin levels or pigmented lips due to sunlight exposure. Neutralization of darker shades can help achieve lighter colors like a soft pink, caramel, or peach.

Watercolor Technique

The watercolor technique offers a soft and natural enhancement without a defined lip contour. The pigment is delicately blended into the lips, enhancing their natural beauty while maintaining a smooth and subtle appearance. This method avoids bold lines, resulting in a seamless, ethereal effect that is perfect for clients who prefer a barely-there makeup look.

3D or Gradient Effect

The 3D Gradient Effect creates the illusion of fuller lips through shading and color blending, giving an object a three-dimensional appearance. It is done by applying darker hue pigment around the lip contour, graduating to a lighter hue toward the center. This gradient not only makes the lips look beautiful but also creates the impression of volume, making them appear fuller and more contoured.

Each of these techniques provides unique advantages that will meet every different person’s desires and needs. Whether you crave an intense Lipstick Effect or a soft Watercolor Technique, modern permanent makeup will give you stunning, natural results.

Lips Permanent Makeup Healing Process

Immediately after the procedure, lips appear much brighter than they will be once fully healed. Don’t worry about swollen lips after permanent makeup. Usually, some of our clients have them just for several hours, if it’s not comfortable for you, we will give you a medical mask. On the day following the procedure, the color often becomes even more vibrant as the healing process begins. This bright color remains until the scabs start to flake off, which typically happens within 3–4 days.

As the scabs shed, the lip color softens and appears lighter and more subtle than the initial bright hue. However, this is not the final result. Over the next month, as the lips continue to heal and the pigment settles, the color gradually deepens and becomes more vibrant, revealing the true final look.

Healing is quick and comfortable for most clients, with many continuing their regular routines without interruption. There’s no need to take time off work or significantly adjust daily habits. We provide clear aftercare instructions and a special lip balm to aid in the healing process, ensuring smooth and beautiful results.

How Long Does Permanent Lip Makeup Last?

Tattoo lips permanent makeup creates long-lasting effects. However, modern techniques are semi permanent makeup, which means they don’t last forever. Typically, clients enjoy the color of permanent lips makeup for 1.5 to 3 years. It’s also important to note that intense shades usually stay on the skin longer.

To keep your permanent makeup looking fresh, it’s a good idea to do a color boost every 12–18 months. For some people the lighter color after some time is enough, but others choose to update it as soon as it starts fading. The choice is yours!

Using our specialized technique, if you choose not to refresh your permanent makeup, your skin will naturally return to its original, untouched appearance over time, just as it was before the treatment.

Does Permanent Lip Makeup Hurt?

Actually, most people tolerate it well, thanks to the numbing cream used beforehand and the gentle approach of the procedure. Anyway, some pressure or discomfort may be felt, which is significantly less than that associated with regular tattooing. While some people feel mild discomfort, others say that the procedure is completely comfortable. Many of our clients find the process even more comfortable than they expected, and we had experience when our clients fell asleep during the treatment.
