Sugaring and Waxing

Waxing is considered better than shaving due to several reasons: It removes hair from the roots; this means the result lasts up to 1 month. This method is more gentle for skin, especially sugar paste, due to natural ingredients. Waxing also helps reduce irritation. Most importantly, it is safer for the skin because it does not cause cuts like shaving with a razor.

Waxing doesn’t completely stop hair growth, like laser hair removal. But regular waxing treatments significantly slow it down over time, as hair will become thinner, hair follicles will be weaker, and hair will grow slowly.

Depending on the client’s sensation level, it can be slightly painful. Another slightly uncomfortable aspect is that you need to grow at least a few millimeters of hair before the session for effective removal.

The warm paste is applied to the skin in the direction of hair growth and then flicked off. For comparison, waxing is applied against hair growth. Sugaring is a more gentle, eco-friendly alternative to traditional waxing.

As a result, hair-free skin can last up to 4–6 weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles. Compared with waxing, many clients notice slightly longer-lasting results because sugaring removes even the shortest hairs more effectively, as more hairs are pulled out completely from the root, and regrowth is slower and finer.

Treatment is very similar to waxing. The main differences are the technique of applying the paste in the direction of hair growth and the composition of the sugaring paste, which is a thick, golden honey that is natural and leaves your skin very soft.
