Permanent makeup eyebrows

PERMANENT MAKEUP
EYEBROWS

With permanent makeup, you can enjoy well-defined, perfectly shaped eyebrows with richer color, all while simplifying your daily beauty routine.

I am truly grateful for your exceptional work. I never expected my eyebrows to look so natural. Over time, my eyebrows had thinned out, leaving barely any hairs behind, but you have given me the chance to fully embrace my new look. My heartfelt thanks go to the Goldbek family for their outstanding studio and impeccable service.

It was extremely comfortable and painless. Initially, I wanted to do microblading, but after consulting with Anastasia, I was convinced that I was in the right hands. Now I have eyebrows with a powder technique, it looks as natural as possible. Defenetly, it was lovely day in your salon.

This year we flew with my family to Madeira. A few months before, I signed up for eyebrow permanent because I liked the photos. I didn’t expect the procedure to go so fast. In 2 hours I had new eyebrows and it was as if I became several years younger. I am incredibly happy. Thank you.

PERMANENT MAKEUP EYEBROWS – MADEIRA ISLAND

What is Permanent Makeup Eyebrows?

Permanent makeup eyebrows, also known as micropigmentation, enhance your eyebrow’s color, definition, and shape. The treatment involves the subtle implanting of pigments into the superficial layers of the skin to create a form of full, soft, powder eyebrows you wake up to every day. This is highly personalized by the shape, size, and color to perfectly correspond to the facial features of each individual.

The PowderBrow method is the most modern and less invasive than microblading and old tattoo techniques, suitable for all skin types, and minimizes the risk of scarring or trauma to zero. At our studio, we prioritize safety and hygiene, using only high-quality materials and the latest techniques to achieve the most natural and healthy, long-lasting results.

How Long Does Permanent Eyebrow Makeup Last?

Micropigmentation permanent makeup creates long-lasting effects. However, modern techniques are semi permanent eyebrow makeup, which means they don’t last forever. Typically, clients enjoy the color of eyebrows for 1 to 2 years. The duration can vary based on factors such as and the color of the pigment (darker shades last longer) , skin type (PMU fades faster on oily skin), lifestyle, genetics, and environmental conditions (e.g., hot, sunny climates).

To keep your permanent makeup looking fresh, it’s a good idea to do a color boost every 12–18 months. For some people the lighter color after some time is enough, but others choose to update it as soon as it starts fading. The choice is yours!

Using our specialized technique, if you choose not to refresh your permanent makeup, your skin will naturally return to its original, untouched appearance over time, just as it was before the treatment.

What is the Eyebrow Permanent Makeup Healing Process?

Upon the first session, your brows would seem much darker and thicker compared to what you expected. This is all perfectly normal, and what you are witnessing at this point is the initial scabbing, which will soon cause the pigment to darken, and then over some days, the scabs will flake off, revealing a lighter appearance.

Stages of Healing:

Days 2-4: The scabs will form over the treated area, making the brows look darker. Do not panic; your brows will not be this dark.

Days 5-10:  Gradually, the scabs will start to fall off, leaving seemingly lighter brows than what is expected. This is normal and not a cause for concern.

Days 14-30: After full healing of the skin, the brows will show their conclusive state with more color saturation by the end of the month.

Important Note: For ideal and effective results, it is important not to pick, peel or scratch the scabs.

Touch-up Session:

A touch-up session is advised 4-8 weeks following the initial treatment session to refine the shape or fill in any gaps while darkening any areas that have lost color, ensuring a long-lasting, perfectly finished result.

Permanent Makeup Eyebrows Aftercare

Achieve the best results from your permanent makeup eyebrows procedure through the following easy steps:

Wash your face as usual, but be careful with the treated area. Avoid using any cleansing products on your brows. Instead, dry them carefully with a tissue after washing.

Do not use sunscreen or regular creams on your brows. If you feel the need to hydrate them, apply a thin layer of the lotion provided by your artist. Dry healing is preferred.

Do not apply eyebrow makeup for about a week, or until the scabs fall off naturally.

Prevent color loss or scarring by avoiding picking, peeling and scratching the treated area.

Avoid long hot showers, steaming, hot tubs, swimming in salt water, sunbathing in direct sun, sweating, and hard workouts for 7 days.

Following these permanent makeup aftercare for eyebrows will help ensure beautiful, long-lasting results!

How to Remove Permanent Makeup Eyebrows?

Our clients don’t need a permanent makeup removal because we work only on the top layer of the skin and use high-quality pigments that fade naturally over time, leaving the skin completely clear.

For those with old PMU that is unsatisfactory due to unwanted color or shape, removal options like laser treatments or saline removal are available. It’s important to consult a professional to determine the best solution for your needs.

At our studio, we require clients with existing PMU to send photos or visit for a consultation before booking a treatment. This is necessary because not all old PMU can be covered with new work, and in some cases, removal may be required beforehand.

How Much is Permanent Eyebrow Makeup?

The cost of permanent makeup brows depends on the type of procedure, the artist’s experience, and the salon and location. If you are looking for permanent makeup eyebrows near me, at Madeira Beauty Salon our prices start at €350 for basic treatments with one touch-up after 1 month.

Microblading Eyebrows vs. Permanent Makeup

Although microblading is very popular in cosmetic tattooing, it comes with some disadvantages compared to permanent makeup.

The process of microblading inflicts higher trauma to skin, due to it being manual, using the blade to cut tiny lines where the pigment deposits. This method can even scar or can get uneven results if not done by a skilled artist truly or when the client has sensitive skin.

Permanent makeup involves the use of a machine to apply pigments with more smoothness and evenness, creating a powdered or ombré effect that circumvents lines typical in microblading. Micropigmentation is for a longer-lasting solution with much less damage to the skin.

So basically, PowderBrow is the best eyebrow permanent makeup, it’s a more advanced and safer way to go for people who want a result that appears real and lasts without any of the downsides of trauma and uneven healing with microblading. Read more on our article about this topic.
